Tirzepatide, the same active ingredient in Mounjaro®, represents the latest and most potent GLP-1 class medication for sustained weight loss. This dual-action GLP-1/GIP is for individuals with obesity (BMI ≥30) or overweight (BMI ≥27) accompanied by a weight-related condition, alongside dietary and exercise modifications.

This product adheres to a titration schedule. All patients must begin with the ‘Month 1’ dose. Subsequently, the dosage per injection gradually increases in Months 2, and 3. Finally, the maintenance dose (Month 4) can continue monthly based on your goals and healthcare provider approval. Please note that a minimum BMI of 27 or greater is necessary to order this product. Below is the typical titration schedule for this product:
Month 1: 2.5 mg weekly
Month 2: 5.0 mg weekly
Month 3: 7.5 mg weekly
Month 4 & Beyond: 10 mg weekly
*Higher doses (12.5mg weekly and 15mg weekly) are available but aren't always recommended or necessary and do require medical approval. If prescribed they will come at an additional cost of $150 per month.
Each monthly dosage provides medication needed for 4 weekly injections including syringes and alcohol pads.
